CWSL invites abstracts on any topic in sociolinguistics, including discourse analysis, linguistic anthropology, and other related fields. We particularly welcome submissions from students (undergraduate, honors, graduate).
Talks will be 15 minutes in length with 15 minutes for questions.
Registration fee:
US $10
Deadline for abstract submission:
January 15, 2016, 11:59 pm PST
Abstract guidelines:
Abstracts should be anonymous, not exceed 300 words (excluding references), and should be submitted electronically to: cwsl@uw.edu
Submitters are advised that this year, the University of Washington will be hosting CWSL concurrently with NWLC (the Northwest Linguistics Conference). In the interest of avoiding the scheduling of competing presentations on sociolinguistics topics in the two conferences and to enable presenters to get the widest possible audience, NWLC and CWSL organizers may contact submitters and invite them to consider submitting to the other conference depending on the topic of their presentation.
Questions and inquiries may be sent to:
cwsl@uw.edu
Hope to see you in Seattle!
