Prof. Alicia Wassink
Alicia Wassink is Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Washington, and director of the Sociolinguistics Laboratory. She received her PhD in 1999 from the University of Michigan. Her research interests lie in phonetics (the study of the acoustic properties, perception, and physiological aspects of human speech) and sociolinguistics (the study of language in its various social contexts).
